Sometimes men are selfish. After marrying your wife, either u started from zero level with her or not. Once you guys are husband and wife, then all your finances and possessions becomes ours! I mean all, sources, how u make it and how u spend it should be known to both of you. You plan together and execute together. For instance, you both agree on what is kept for feeding and upkeep of the family. This time around, it is no longer my sweat, but our sweat! The fact that your wife knows how much you earn, does not stop you from spending the way you want. How well do men take care of their wives? Some are only pretenders, while others are been wicked. Some women are prisoners in their matrimonial homes. Some suffer in silence, while yet others are suffering and smiling. Some men, because wickedness is their middle name, they no longer see their wives as anything of value. Some men nags more than their wives. At the slightest mistake she makes, heaven will break loose, he will shout and shout and shout again. Whenever, I hear a man complains that my wife is this or that, I use to have my reservations. I am not saying all women are saints. Success or failure in marriage to a large extend depends on how the man treats his wife. Some men dont even seek the advice of their wives in decision making, talk more of using them. In fact, our wives advices are always invalueable. But because of pride and the illusion of some of us as the head of the family, we dont regard their advices. The bible says any man who does not take care of his family is worse than an unbeliever. Mistreat your wife and face the judgement of God, even here on earth. Treat your wife with respect, love and care and see the angel in her. MY PRAYER: Oh Lord, touch the heart of husbands who mistreats their wives. Open their eyes to see Your glory. All husbands who have gone astray, Lord bring them back, reform them and restore them through Your Mercy oh Lord. I pray for the grace upon all married couples in Jesus name. Amen.
