Sometimes silence is required. Sitting still, eyes shut, my mind calms and slows. Thoughts, images, words, ebb and flow like the tide. I open my eyes and look, as the light fades in the night sky. Not taking in the view, but just but losing myself in that big open space. My recent life, so busy, with laughter, tears and a wealth of music for my ears. So I put down my laptop and turn off my phone and sit at the window and let me mind wander amongst the stars, alone.
