Sometimes, the hardest thing in the world to do, is Expose those - TopicsExpress

Sometimes, the hardest thing in the world to do, is Expose those who refuse to do right, Yet it’s a basic Biblical Principal taught to Timothy by the Apostle Paul. 1 Timothy 5:20 Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. Its easy to miss the point of Rebuke and Correction, in an accept anything Generation, where were taught to Say Nothing, yet that is NOT a Biblical Doctrine at all. Just look at what the Apostle Paul taught in, Romans 16:17-18 Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them. For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple. Here we see two Solid Statements by Paul, outlining how were to Handel situations that arise, especially with Hypocrites, who Claim to be Christians, But clearly are not. And these are teachings that JESUS Himself taught too. In Matthew 18:15-17 JESUS Said: (Moreover if thy brother shall trespass against thee, go and tell him his fault between thee and him alone: if he shall hear thee, thou hast gained thy brother. But if he will not hear thee, then take with thee one or two more, that in the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established. And if he shall neglect to hear them, tell it unto the church: but if he neglect to hear the church, let him be unto thee as an heathen man and a publican.) Here are three plain, simple points, as to how “we” as Christians are to handle issues that arise within the Church, Home & Community. These are Clear points of Accountability one to another. Like them or not, they are Biblical Principals, and Principals that should be followed. Paul tells Timothy that, 2 Timothy 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness. There are Four Key points in that Scripture, 1. Doctrine .. The Greek word (didaskalia) meaning: to instruction, and teach. (especially as extending to the necessary lifestyle for Christianity) 2. Reproof .. The Greek word (elegchos) meaning: to prove or test (To confirm or disprove the Born Again Believer) 3. Correction .. The Greek word (epanorthósis) meaning: to set straight, or to set on a right course again) 4 Instruction .. The Greek word (paideia) meaning: to rear a child, train, discipline and chastise as needed for correction) The scriptures are Clear, as to how to grow TRUE Christians, and thus, produce a Healthy (Church/Ekklesia) .. Anything less, and we produce a Spoiled, all about myself Generation of people. We don’t have to look far to find just such a generation of people, who want to be called Christians, Yet have little, if any, of the Specific Characteristics of Christianity its self. Its time to begin the HARD WORK, of correcting the course of the (Ekklesia/Called Out) People of GOD. No one said it would be easy, But it’s a MUST, IF, we truly LOVE people, we will do as GOD does, and call as GOD calls. Revelation 3:19 As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent. True Love, will not coddle the Sin of those it loves, because LOVE KNOWS, that the wages of Sin is Still, certain Death in a lake of Fire, (Romans 6:23 & Revelation 21:8) With Much Hope and Love, Will Matherly
