Sometimes the people we respect the most, we call them mentors. You see in them what you hope to become and they see themselves in you. We joked about it on occasion but I never told him how much I appreciated his friendship, I thought I had more time. Of all the people I know, I was most excited to see him succeed and achieve his dream. He had the world at fingertips, a revolutionary business model that was succeeding, an amazing circle of friends, a beautiful daughter, and most importantly he was a good man. Im not used to loosing friends, this is one of the first times Ive lost a close friend so I apologize for my emotions... I cant stop ripping at the seams because I genuinely cant stop regretting not having spent more time with him. I miss you Trent Nevills. I cant believe youre gone. You were too valuable, and the world needs more people like you. You will be missed by many.
