Sometimes under the tournament activity with the intention - TopicsExpress

Sometimes under the tournament activity with the intention bringing all martial arts together as a whole family, & competitors from everywhere in & outside countries induced by its spirit of “martial art through friendship” panoply or competing with honor & strength are going there to show & share the skills, but there is also bias mentality with directives which can be called favoritism of the locals tournament judges that I have seen obviously in many sites, especially in Wong People tournament & the last-week’s Orlando ICMAC tournament. I’m not talking about the lacking apprehensive martial art knowledge from these judges , but bringing it out to competitors & tournament promoters to search better in the future. If not, the tournaments will be definitely unsuccessful with hopelessness. People like to compete with the true talents & the selected judges must respect their time of diligent training, preparing, & spending expensive costs of traveling for the tournaments, but not for being unfair judging. We would rather lose for people who are better than us which is OK, then we will work harder, but being robbed because the judges sitting in & pretending as political spies wanting to bring the fixed scores & more medals back for their team members, or to whom they knew which is very immoral in martial art act. It’s hard to keep the screen standing between moral acts & cheating behaviors, hypocrisy has become the ruling the martial virtue in contrasting with the rules that we could see everywhere, like cheating in a political campaign. I personally respect Master Nick’s work that constituted the tournament rules, but bringing the wrong judges not carefully into the site which is destroying the good name for the organization, specially International Chinese Kung Fu for martial artists to whom known as Chinese gentlemen. Instead of looking around for searching the best artists to promote in future the best masters for our young generations to carry on our Chinese & Asian martial arts, those judges were stealing the scores by favoritism, though ICMAC had prohibited this idea but somehow couldn’t be contrived by these bias judges. We are not talking about winning or losing, but the politic issued at the Orlando tournaments. We can’t just be silent to watch this wrong act going on. This is a sharing post to help ICMAC to grow in the future, because the Pittsburgh’s ICMAC of year 2011 that caused so many competitors leaving tournament there & had never come back since. Hope ICMAC will recognize this in the future tournament!
