Sometimes we get to a place where we are unsure of where we are to go from where we are, there are so many variables and so many things seem so impossible! We try to put our faith and trust in Jesus but how is He going to work all this out for good? That’s when we have to slow down and realize that we have a God that deals in the impossible! You may not know what is going to happen in your future but God does and you know what He is going to do? He’s going to work in whatever impossible situation you have in your life. Jesus said “for truly I say to you, if you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible to you.” When the Angel appeared to Mary and told her she would give birth to the Holy One that will be called the Son of God, He also told her Elizabeth will also conceive a son in her old age and is six months pregnant even though she was barren – “For with God nothing will be impossible”! When Jesus had the discussion with the rich young ruler and said “How hard it is for those who are wealthy to enter the kingdom of God!” His disciples asked, “Then who can be saved? He said “The things that are impossible with people are possible with God.” God is a God of the impossible. When we are utterly helpless, He is our Helper. But He requires the cooperation of our obedience. Henry Blackaby in Experiencing God says that when God extends an invitation to join Him, we all go through a crisis of faith, thinking there is no way I can do what He wants me to do! Those are times when God orders our circumstances in such a way that from a human standpoint His promises are impossible to fulfill. And at the point we find these promises almost unbelievable God has just exposed the boundaries of our faith — boundaries He is fixing to expand. When everything hangs on believing that God “gives life to the dead and calls into existence the things that do not exist” and there is no safety net is when we really learn that nothing is too hard for the Lord. God is there for you. God deals in impossible, so turn to Him and trust Him whole heartedly. There’s nothing in your life that God cant work in. There’s no situation too hopeless, God desires to enter into your life and do amazing things.
