Sometimes we love someone so much we continue to stay with them in the hopes of changing them, to make them more religious, or to make them a better person. But we forget that it is Allah who changes the hearts. We bring about a change in ourselves for Allah’s sake, not for someone else. Remember that Allah sees and knows what we don’t so we should always place our trust in Him, that He will bring a change in that other person because the both of us want to be closer to Allah, or He will replace that person with someone who is so much better for our faith and our lives. sheikh umran Do not fear living a life without luxuries, do not fear living without a car, jewellery or gadgets. Do not fear falling into poverty and failing at business. These things come and go, and the one who doesnt have anything today may have it all tomorrow. Rather, fear the loss of Allah from your life, fear the deprivation of eemaan and knowledge, fear the possibility of not reaching Jannah, and of not being to see His Face! And then use this fear like a ladder and work hard to earn His Pleasure. What is the life of this world but play and amusement? But best is the home in the hereafter, for those who are righteous. Will you not then understand? (al-Anam 6:32)
