Yesterday at 6pm Africa time, i found myself with my Entertainment Editor at the Gradeur event center along Billings way i Ikeja. Okay, if you dont know him, Buchi Atuonwu is an incredible Gospel artist that has turned the everyday Reggae music to a full flesh Christian style that everyone would like to wine a waist to irrespective of your stiff body nature. Do you remember his popular? What a mighty God! Jesus must be honored! It is well! Lo, i am with you! and Mma Mma! just to blink the memory. Buchi has really done a lot when it comes to the Gospel Reggae. He was celebrating his 50th birthday, lauching his new album and thanking God for the narrow escape of his familys life in the fire incident. The event kick start with cocktail and networking. Meeting Buchi was a warmth and a welcome package. Hello Mr. Buchi, what a wonderful evening? I am Akinwunmi Ibrahim from This Day Newspapers. He replied with a smile. Oh! I was busy doing my thing before Jo Praise elated the praise worship in me to an awesome worship. Lo and behold! before i could realize that i was a Photojournalist representing my medium, i had gone in spirit. I started worshiping with a new tongue and my spirit arose to bless the name of the almighty. I knew Buchis kind of music before then but i was more identifying with it that night. Buchi his talented no ado. To thrill his audience that has come from afar and near, buchi mount the pulpit to do a test run of his oldies, everyone was just in tone with his kind of melody and dance. His testimony of the fire incident that burnt his whole but did not burn the bible left everyone so stunning. Really, what a mighty God we own! Lara George also performed her most thrilling Dansaki .And Alli baba compered and many Gospel artist and Movie as well as personalities in the Christendom graced the wonderful throw-out of Buchi.......Step up Buchi!
