Sometimes what passes for entertainment these days disgusts me to the point where I actually question its authenticity. Perhaps its a played out and tired statement to make, but this endless march of reality shows based on human garbage who demand attention because the depths of their depravity is only matched by the depths of their bank accounts and diametrically reflected in the shallowness of their character has become offensive to the point of satire. Are they serious? Is Keeping up with the Kardashians just some grand joke? Shall the story some day leak that the cast of the Jersey Shore are actually decent folk, and master thespians? Is Honey Boo Boo just a midget? If not, this world has chosen its poison, and good riddance to it. If so, good riddance anyway because weve all been had for fools.
