Sometimes you can feel a little uncertain about the new season that you are walking into because of the "junk" that might precede it. But let me help you with that.... I want to give to you a gift, beautifully wrapped with decorative paper, ribbons and bows. Do you accept this gift? Now what are you going to do with your gift? Are you going to hold it and just admire the beautiful way in which it is wrapped and not even bother to go for the gift inside? I challenge you to strip the outer wrappings off of the gift so that you can see what was given you. In doing so, in stripping off the outer layers, no matter how nice they might have looked, what is revealed to you is the gift inside. Why do I describe this to you? Because the "junk" that precedes your walking into your new season is the stripping off of the outer layers so that the gift to you from God, the new season that you are walking into, can be enjoyed. Dont trip over the pretty paper and ribbons that is torn off the gift and thrown away. Dont trip over the "junk" that has to be released in order for you to walk into your new season.
