Somewhere, in some strange alternate reality, Sega is getting ready to unveil their latest console in another attempt to finally knock Nintendo from the top spot in the video game world. Their latest handheld endeavor, the PhoneGear (a fully 3-dimensional smartphone/Game Gear hybrid) is dominating the 3DS in sales and is not far behind the iPhone 5. Sony, after the PS2 flopped, became one of the leading third-party developers and have created many great new games for the Wii U. Microsoft never even entered the video game market, and what would have been their Xbox division is currently working on creating high-tech, energy-efficient appliances.
