Song For The Ride Home - yes, its my wife Lizzys birthday. I didnt ask her to pick a song, mainly because its not that important and I dont think she pays much attention to these posts anyway - she has to put up with what I like all the time. So, if someone asked me to pick a song Id send out to my wife, this one immediately comes to mind. Great tune from the R&B vocal band The Manhattans, who had a lot of R&B hits from the late 60s into the 80s, but this was only one of two that ever crossed over big to pop chart too.
