Song Memories 2: In the summer of 77 or 78, cant remember which, I was riding my bike up the street and stopped in my tracks by the house where that scary guy named Alan lived. He had a black bowl haircut and put out this air of danger. But on this day, he was sitting outside in the sun and had his stereo speakers propped up in the window. This aggressive music was blaring out and I had no idea what it was. I was a Kiss freak and was kind of scared by the pictures of punk rockers that I had seen in Creem and Rock Scene magazines. I got up the nerve to ask him what record he was playing and it was The Ramones Beat On The Brat. Then he said, buy this record. Itll piss off your parents.
