Song of praise; In that day you will say: “I will praise you, Lord. Although you were angry with me, your anger has turned away and you have comforted me. Surely God is my salvation; I will trust and not be afraid. The Lord, the Lord himself, is my strength and my defense; he has become my salvation.” With joy you will draw water from the wells of salvation. In that day you will say: “Give praise to the Lord, proclaim his name; make known among the nations what he has done, and proclaim that his name is exalted. Sing to the Lord, for he has done glorious things; let this be known to all the world. Shout aloud and sing for joy, people of Zion, for great is the Holy One of Israel among you.” (Isaiah 12:1-6 NIV) This song of praise from Isaiah is also a prophesy, it speaks of a time in the future. In that day you will say: This does not say that Isaiah will say anything but that you will say, making it prophesy. Gods anger with mankind was turned from us to Christ on the cross, God became our salvation through Christ Jesuss resurrection. Place your faith in Christ and receive His everlasting love, strength, and protection. We no longer have any reason what-so-ever to be afraid of Gods wrath, we do not fear God, we embrace Him. We no longer beg for the waters of life but rather take freely all we want and more. We no longer tremble in fear at the base of Mt. Sinai but shout for joy for the peaks Mt. Zion. We are the children of God Almighty, heirs of His kingdom, we have been made righteous by God Himself through the one perfect sacrifice Christ Jesus the Son of God. Praise God for His love! Prayer: Thank you Jesus for all you have done, continue to do, and will do in our lives. Thank you Jesus for your love, mercy, and sacrifice. Thank you Father for love, compassion, guidance, and strength. For without you we are incapable. May all we do and say today praise Your name. May all the people around us see You through us today.
