Sonny was bored. He was lonely in his apartment in LA. Joel is away, doing his gigs as usual. Sonny has only a month to relax. Then an idea struck to him one evening. Sonny took out a book and a pencil to draft out plans for a robot.(Since when did Sonny do robot designs…)After an hour of drafting, Sonny decided to get some food for dinner. There was nothing much in the fridge. Sonny decided to just eat leftover pizza Joel bought last 3 days ago. “At least you have some food to eat when I’m gone.” Joel told Sonny before he leave for his gigs. Sonny just shed a tear just thinking of Joel. After eating, Sonny took a shower and check on his drafts. ‘Maybe I’ll do it tomorrow…’ Sonny thought. -9:30, London- Joel is looking outside his hotel window, thinking. ‘Wonder what is my goblin doing right now…’ Joel thought. He was worried that his goblin is doing some weird crazy thing he does not expect. -2:15, LA- Sonny woke up at 2:15, thanks to the annoying buzz of his Blackberry. It was Joel, calling. “Hey man.” Sonny said. Joel can hear his voice all tired, ‘Maybe he did something…think about that later’ Joel’s mind was thinking of bad things.”Hey. What are you doing?” Joel asked. “Well..you woke me up,I was sleeping you ass.” Sonny said with a serious tone. “Well, I just called just to know that you are fine.” Joel said. “Well you talk to me in the morning you skullnut.” Sonny said. He just disconnected the line. Sonny went back to his slumber. -9:30 A.M, LA- Sonny woke up to the sound of cars honking outside. He was used by the sound of car honks. “Well I guess I should start now.” Sonny said to himself. He took a shower and went outside. He found a small amount of metal and old electronic gadgets. ‘At least this is a decent amount of things I need to make JOEL-MAU5’ Sonny thought. He took the metal and the electronic gadgets to his apartment. “All right. Let’s do this!” Sonny said. After 5 hours of work, his robot is done. Sonny flicked on the small switch on JOEL-MAU5’s back and it moved. “Hey Sonny. You’re not even funny” JOEL-MAU5 said. Sonny just giggled like a schoolgirl with her friends. Sonny connected his Blackberry to JOEL-MAU5. Sonny decided to call Joel. “Joel?” Sonny asked. “Hey Sonny.” JOEL-MAU5 said. “Joel when are you coming home?” Sonny asked in a worried tone. “Around today, 1:30 PM” JOEL-MAU5 speaked. The eyes glowed. It reminds Sonny of Joel’s live shows. “So where am I suppose to wait?” Sonny asked. He was impatient for Joel to come back to his house in LA. -10:30 A.M London- Joel was waiting for his flight back to LA to be announced. ‘FLIGHT TO LA, FLIGHT 4-13(2)’ was showing on the LED ticker. Joel immediately get off his seat and headed to the flight. ‘Flight 4-13, LA’ Joel checked his ticket. When Joel got in his seat, an elderly lady asked him “Where are you going, young man? What is with that box?” Joel doesn’t really like talking to strangers, but he have to spill a bit of the beans. “LA. Meeting my friend. The box is a gift to him.” Joel quickly said. “My name is Joel.” The old lady smile weakly. “Call me Loretta. I’m heading to Florida. You remind me of my boy, Elliot.” Loretta said. Joel didn’t really said anything much about his life. He peeked at the old lady. Loretta looks like as if she is writing a small letter. After the plane landed in LA, Loretta gave Joel a small note. “Read this on the way to your friend”.Joel looked at Loretta, giving a small smile. When Joel hailed a taxi to Sonny’s apartment. Joel decided to read the note. “I see that you missed your friend a lot. You remind me of my husband Phil when he came home from Malaysia. Remember Joel, no matter how far you are, how lost you are, anywhere in the world, your friend who is really close to you will always be in your heart. After reading this letter, I am already dead. I have been dead since 2 years ago!” A shiver was sent down Joel’s spine. He has been talking to a ghost! “Say hello to your friend from me. -Loretta” Joel immediately close the letter. “Stop right here.” Joel told the taxi driver. “Where is my money, bro?” the taxi driver asked. Joel rummage in his jacket pocket and gave the money to the taxi driver. “Terima Kasih” the taxi driver said. “Yeah sure whatever” Joel replied. -SONNY’S APARTMENT- Sonny has been fooling around with JOEL-MAU5 so he could pass the time. He could have make a new track but Sonny doesn’t feel like wanted to do a track. He just missed Joel. The JOEL-MAU5 just only kept him company for the time. Suddenly, Sonny heard a knock on the door. He kept the JOEL-MAU5 under his bedsheets to answer the door. “Hey Sonny.” Joel said. “Hey Joel. What have you got there?” Sonny asked, pointing to the small box. “Oh uhhh…I got you something from London.” Joel answered, giving the small box to Sonny. Joel watched as the goblin opened the box as if Sonny is a 6 year old boy getting his Wii. “What is this Joel?” Sonny asked. “It’s a jester hat.” Joel shrugged. Then, Sonny remembered. He wanted to show Joel his robot.”Hey Joel you know what I did when you were gone?” Sonny asked in a playful tone. Joel knew that this was coming. His goblin always do his projects when he is gone. “Ok Joel close your eyes.” Sonny said it in a tone like what a girl would do. Joel just simply closed his eyes. Sonny took off the bedsheet “Ta-daaaaa! Meet JOEL-MAU5!” Joel opened his eyes. He saw a small replica of himself with a detachable mau5head. “So this is what you do when I was gone? A robot me?” Joel said in a fake serious tone. The robot look nearly exactly like him. “I thought you might like it.” Sonny said it in a sad tone. Joel know he was going to cry. “Look Sonny, I have never seen a robot replica of me so…precise. Heck you got my tattoos right.” Joel confessed. Sonny eyes lighted up “Really? Joel…I have never got a compliment that kind.” Joel was surprised that Sonny never got a compliment that was kind.”I got a second gift.” Joel told Sonny “What is it?” Sonny asked. Joel moved closer to Sonny, making both of their lips meet.
