Soo today Hannah Meiron and I ran into a homeless man (Harry) on the way back from the gas station and I stopped and asked if he had eaten today. His response was well not particularly.. so I went home and made him a couple sandwiches, heated up some cube steak and noodles, gave him a can of soup, a couple bottles of water and a few other snacks. As soon as we gave it to him he started eating it and I cant even describe the look of joy that he had. And then we sat there and talked to him for a good hour. He told us his life story. And the thing that pissed me off was that hes a veteran. And hes living on the streets. That is absolutely disgusting that someone who served this country cant even be better taken care of. I wish I could have done more to help, not just him, but more people that are in the same position. But hey props to our government for making sure that the drug addicts that neglect their children have a nice place to live and food on the table, but yet veterans who served in wars to keep all of us safe cant even get good medical attention, let alone be taken care of. But all in all Im glad I got to make his night a little better and hopefully hell sleep better with a full stomach! :)
