Soon after the vote to repeal Common Core, the Williamson County school board chairman will probably introduce a resolution to rename the Winter and Spring to the former designation Christmas Break and Easter Break. In all likelihood the vote will be 8 to 4 unless Jay Galbreath crosses over. Jay is showing signs of moderation. The last time we did this vote I joined a group of local ministers who came to the board supporting the secular designations. We will be back. It seems a little ironic to see who introduces and votes for the religious designations.
