Sooo. I remember a few months ago standing outside the M1-5 Lounge with my dad on Walker St. in NYC waiting to go into the RAWards show. I had no idea what to expect, but I was totally thrilled to have gotten an invitation to go and check out the organization and all of the artists that were performing that night. When we walked in, the event was like an Andy Warhol party. Creativity was literally seeping out of the walls, and the amount of music and art everywhere was overwhelming. I had no idea that a few months later, I would be a musician at a RAW showcase in my favorite city, amongst a 2 year waiting list of artists that want to perform in the Manhattan show. Tomorrow is going to be a huge stepping stone in my music career thus far, and I am so completely excited to spend the night with my friends and family :)
