Sooo... a few weeks ago we had a follow up appointment with a community paediatrician one year after first being referred to them from our GP. In between their first observation/assessment with Skyhonk, theyd received completed questionnaires from both his preschool nursery and primary school to get a rounded picture. We thought it would be useful to list Minhs super powers and annotate them with the frequency that he tends to let them loose (not that he can control them at this stage in his life...) - daily/weekly/occasionally. Err... all bar two were daily the other two were weekly(!) It wasnt until we took the conscious effort to make a list did it really hit home that nomatter how minor in isolation any one of these things may be, how much of a cumulative daily struggle it is for him. We try to keep reminding ourselves that however challenging it us for us, were not the ones living with it inside. It made us appreciate and love the little mentalist even more. On a lighter note - he farted when we gave him a Buddy Hug earlier and weve also included a picture of him playing Skylanders. Whilst wearing his magic gloves of course... Mongo - we love you buddy.
