Sooo flying United Airlines has been by far the worst flight experience in all my life, to include crappy C-130 flights into Iraq in blistering heat with a rucksack in my lap and a co-workers knee in my crotch in full battle rattle. First flight out Raleigh nc was delayed an hour then made me check my carry-on, then we sat on the tarmac for 45min, arrived in San Francisco, told to hurry and run to our gate only to find that flight was delayed an hour. Then the aircraft has maintenance issues and we wait 2hrs to be told we are switching planes. That plane is getting prepped for the next flight when they announce the flight to Seattle is canceled altogether and we are to go to the booth to reschedule. Get to the booth only to find that 3 other flights have been canceled and 200 ppl are trying to do the same thing. By this time its 3am and United Airlines is telling me I cant get a flight until the next evening and I will have to cancel my flight leaving Seattle to go home the next day. Finally get a flight at noon that will allow me to keep my flight leaving Seattle the next day. Go to find my carry on luggage they made me check and of course its lost and no United employee can tell me where my luggage is. Finally get a supervisor that tells me my luggage will meet me in Seattle keep your fingers crossed. Now I have a 5 hr wait until my next flight, I guess Ill sleep on the ground with the other 20 ppl trying to get to Seattle. And now Im number 15 on a standby list waiting for a seat uncertain I will make there to get my son I havent seen in 3 months. United was gracious enough to compensate me with $75 toward the next flight for my inconvenience though, oooo. Needless to say I will NEVER be flying with this hell-hole of an airline company ever again. I feel sorry for their employees that suffer by having to deal with nothing but upset customers who are also suffering from a company that needs to be abolished.
