Sooo, we got to the surgeon yesterday and he had temp of 102. Dr said he looks good and his wound looked really good. Its healing really well and there is no sign of infection, liver felt nice and soft and belly wasnt distended. All good signs. We also had blood work done, and that all came back good. He then checked his ENT and noticed that he had some white things on his tonsils, so back to lab to check for flu and strep. Dr said he wasnt worried medically but concerned about where the fever is coming from, so he is on antibiotics to help with whatever it is. As of this morning, results are negative. Elliott still is a little warm but seems to be feeling better and running around a lot more. Another check up in 2 wks. Its no fun having to deal with what should be a small thing, such as a fever for a healthy child to become such a big production of phone calls and dr appts. But such is life and will be that way forever. At least he is healthy and doing amazing.
