Soooo.. I accidentally sat on my kindles screen a couple of months ago and felt bad about the whole thing. This would have probably meant I needed to get a third device (first got stolen at PICC while I was shooting an expo, second is this) in four years. :( I finally decided to just try fixing it myself by ordering some cheap and refurbished replacement parts from Amazon, all because I am absolutely nuts about the non-touch screen and tome-like feel of the paperwhite 3rd gen keyboard version, and I used to be a super-Doge™ technical support guy in a past life. The rest they say, is histrionics. ^_^
