Soooo... yesterday I received an unexpected call to audition for - TopicsExpress

Soooo... yesterday I received an unexpected call to audition for an off Broadway musical thats currently touring the country. I was called at 3:30 and asked to be there by 5. And the location was nearly an hour away with traffic. But you know what? I jumped up, got dressed, grabbed a soundtrack and headed to the theatre where I auditioned for the casting director, vocal director and choreographer. They had me singing everything from Whats Love Got to do With it, to The Lion Sleeps Tonight. I had to learn a dance routine and perform it and everything! Lol. Tttooootally out of my comfort zone... but you know what? I DID GOOD!!! I surprised myself! And even if they dont call me back, I now know Im capable of doing something I never thought I could and it even gives me confidence to try again! So just wanted to encourage someone today to TAKE A CHANCE. You never know what youve got until you TRY!
