I will be presenting a workshop for the Womens Resources and Research Center Still I Rise Empowerment Conference I will give you the details of the time and place but I am sooo excited to spread the voice of music to our communties! My workshop will be: Black Radio: The Womans Musical Voice in Hip-Hop Can a song awaken us to gender issues and stir our hearts into action? How was the Womens voice an impact in Hip-Hop culture? Do you think we have lost our voice? Main goal: To have every women feel they can make a creative impact in their activism through the power of music and any other aspect in the arts.
