Soooooo. Just did a little searching and googling about my trucks flex fuel capabilities and came across some Interesting info. Since my truck is a ffv it will run e10 to e85 blends of gas, which means that anywhere from 10% - 85% of my fuel can be ethanol. Ethanol is a cheaper, cleaner burning, alternative to Fossil fuels, even though you need to mix it with gasoline to become efficient, it in turns gives me better gas mileage while keeping polutanst out of the air. If 25% of mericans would have a car that ran Off 60% ethanol (basically an upgraded fuel system or a ffv) it would reduce the worlds oil shortage and create less toxins and pollutants in our atmosphere. Google it right now, see where you can get at least e30 or higher near your location . . . there are two places in Ga. . . just two. This is a problem and it needs to be fixed. Big oil companies dont want to put this type of fuel on the market because it would essentially be diluting their gasoline and causing them to sell it a lower cost eventually costing them trillions of dollars. Come on guys. Why is this not a thing in everyones Vehicle, yet everyone thinks that electric car are the future??? Well, they arent. Where do you think this energy is coming from to power this battery to run an electric motor ?? From Burning coal. Mind blown right . electric cars are not the future. Until the technology is invented to run an engine using air or water the only thing that can be done to improve planet earth is to create a fuel for internal combustion engines that is less harmful to the environment than what we are being now.
