Sorry I didnt get chance to update yesterday.. The truth is Isla has deteriorated so fast, yesterday was a bit of a blur. Her infection markers are doubling, shes spiking a temp every 4/5 hours still, she needed fluid bolouss to relieve the pressure off her heart and her BP is starting to struggle too. With all this in consideration drs arent happy and have decided not to use her line. This means she never got TPN and only IV fluids. They also started another anti fungal antibiotic. This can only be for a very Short time as Isla obviously needs her nutrition to be able to fight this awful infection IV fluids wont no where near cover what she needs. Drs are going to be calling GOSH for a better plan then the last one they gave and update them on her condition now in hope for a bed. I think I can quite safely say that there will not be a bed for her this week if even next week, so Im hoping they have a good enough plan thats going to start making Isla better before things get worse and she needs ITU. I will update you all again when I can hopefully with some better news then today. Please please prey Isla has the strength to keep fighting, she has a very scared family right now who just wants to see their gorgeous Isla smile again.
