Sorry I disappeared yesterday...I was out enjoying my normal Monday routine, hours of sand volleyball and then softball. (Yea its my sandy day) when a migraine hit full force.. Does any of you get migraines? Well Im not sure if I ever told all of you about this but I shouldve and I believe now is the time! Ive had migraines from the time I was about 9 or 10 and they really werent sure what was happening until I was 12 and they ran some test to find out I had a Brain Tumor. Scary huh especially for such a young girl! I was ready to quit everything!! I believe it was basketball season at that time and I was like Im done Ive got a brain tumor! Luckily I had an amazing momma that was very practical and calmed me down and made me patiently wait for other test results. A few weeks later we found out it was benign (thank god) but it was on my pituitary gland and would be messing with hormonal functions including my thyroid. boooooooooo!!!! So for the last 18 years I have fought the effects of that. I dont let it stop me or keep me from trying to keep my weight under control and I have not used it as an excuse for being overweight or not losing weight (even though it has a great effect on it). We all have our struggles and well Im glad I finally shared mine with you.
