Sorry I was MIA :) Just returned from a beautiful retreat weekend for Smart Success couples in San Diego at the La Costa resort. If youve never done a retreat - let me tell you .... The rewards of unplugging, reconnecting, learning, being a student, the ability to focus, then rest and recharge is everything you would imagine and more. You might not be at a place in your life where getting away is an option. Unfortunately, for too many people when they finally reached a stage where this is a possibility financially and there is freedom in their schedule…they dismiss self care as a selfish or unworthy pursuit. Nothing could be further from the truth. Whether its a fancy retreat or just taking a day off ----you must prioritize the need to recharge, focus and restore yourself if you truly want to give your best.
