Doesnt have to be either the newer iPads with 128 with retrina or the Microsoft tablet surface pro 2. Samsung tablets newer version is the only beginning. iPad is really up too you, doesnt have to be extremely expensive but a 16gb iPad 2 or 3 hopefully and the stylus is all you need how the apps work all together.
