Sorry been out of the loop for a few days how ya all doin? I spent Saturday night at a pal of ours daughters wedding, congratulations again to Nikki and Jason who will by now be in sunny Egypt! On Sunday Gill, David and I attended my pal Willies joint 60th birthday bash with his dear pal James, great music supplied by the Rab Howat Band with special guest appearances from Kenny Herbert who along with the band did a splendid version of Eleanour Rigby, and also Nobby Clark who was also in fine voice, Willies son Blair, opened proceedings with his own band and everyone was treated to some of their own material as well as some standards. The most important thing though, was that Willie and James had asked that rather than give presents, that everyone could donate something to The Sick Kids, delighted to report £1600 pounds was raised, great effort guys!! So what have you lot been up to?
