Sorry but I just have to rant!!! Sometimes some people make you wonder what you really mean to them. Are you important? Did you ever matter to them? Were you just a meal on the table and a roof over their head? Did all the I love yous mean nothing, were they just empty words? You worked hard to always make sure their needs were met and they had the best you could provide and then some. You loved them with all of you and more. They show you no affection anymore and speak with disrespect. They do not care what is happening to you. They treat you with a distance, a coldness, like a stranger and not a family member. All you can ask is why? All this new behavior is a stranger to you. You taught them better, you showed them better. You tried to lead them as God would have you to. But now you have no answer for their actions and what is happening. They have become strangers to you in so many ways. It breaks your heart. You pray everyday they will love you again and accept your love just like they did when they were growing up. You cry in silence. You are broken. You pray they will love God more. All you want is a little time with them, a phone call, a visit. You know the time you have is now short and every day makes a difference. This is the saddest thing I have witnessed happening to someone I love. It breaks my heart. Some day will come and it will be too late! You cannot get this time back. I can only hope if you read this you will start to think about what you are doing. Your actions are selfish, childish and disrespectful to this person and to God. You deserve nothing in this life and you owe everything! Everything being your love. It is time to change.
