Sorry but the common core in my opinion sucks. Kids and parents are becoming so stressed out with this new way of learning. Let kids be kids and stop trying to rush them into college at such young ages. Maybe there wouldnt be so many problems with anxiety and behavior issues if kids had a little more time to relax and process information. Parents grew up in a different time period and even though for some of us it may of only been a few years ago we are having difficulty helping our kids at home with homework because of this new way of thinking. When my kids told me they do not carry numbers and what exactly is that. I thought I would die. They regroup is what I am told. Adding was becoming a thing of the past. I was ten told by my kids a few years ago, we dont add the numbers we estimate. Um pretty sure my mortgage company wouldnt agree if I estimated my payment each month.
