Sorry for using what we used to call 50-cent words, but the ambiance inside the Landing restaurant in Tyne Valley this afternoon was such a delight. Outside it was wild, windy and wet, inside it was warm and inviting. In my younger days, the Landing housed the village library and drug store, later it was a variety store (Johnny Biggar, a kindly man, would sell me two cigarettes for a few cents, all without my mothers knowledge of course!). It has had other purposes through the years before becoming the Landing. Hardwood on the floor, walls and ceiling. Its a delightful locale in a delightful part of rural P.E.I..
