Sorry for you people who think we can protect ourselves without America, or for those who wants to terminate the EDCA and VFA with America. Beware, these Senators and Congressman who advocate terminating the treaty will bring our National Security into a very great risk against China. As former President Fidel Ramos said yesterday, Dec. 18, 2014, we have a higher level of involvement with America more than the the killing of transgender Jennifer Laude by US Marine Lance Corporal Joseph Scott Pemberton. There is no justification to terminate the VFA or the EDCA because of the incident. China, our biggest enemy is almost knocking at our door, and we do not have any defense against them except with our relationship with America our ally. The Americans may not come to our aid if Chinese attacks us, but then, who can predict what America would do if China invade us? One deterent from Chinese invasion is to let the Americans establish their permanent base here. Don’t listen to Senator Miriam Santiago, or Senator Drilon. Both would not be around to see the invasion because they would go back to their ancestral land, China. Just look at what an Russian SU-35 can do, wherein China has also a similar aircaft. The Korean built FA-50 would look like a drone against the SU-35. Im not trying to go against our national interest or being unpatriotic.
