Sorry guys , the scans took all day after what was to be a 11:00 appt. turned into a 3:30 appt to find out everything. The dr is pleased with the results. We ARE NOT CANCER FREE,however,he feels were on the right cocktail of chemo. The lung still has 2 nodes but they have not grown nor spread. This is very good due to the fact the chemo is doing its job. Remember, were only 2 rounds into chemo. His dr does things a lil different he scans after 2-3 rounds to make sure were on the right path. He feels we are. So were scheduled for 3 more chemos then full body scans after that. His esophagus looks very well other than inflammation and excess fluid so the chemo is killing those cells. So we keep fighting with this aggressive chemo and keep praying. The dr. was a lil upset that Randy hadnt been in to see him about the lung where he fell he said it showed significant inflammation and a lot of excess fluid around causing all the pain. As he says Randy is tough and just takes whats thrown at him and fights it. But, the truth is still the ins. I know I will be in for a fight for chemo Monday so Ill spend the rest of the week fighting to get that. No matter what the dr says he will get it but, he doesnt know my fight and frustration with this. We should not have had to sit in a hospital lobby for 3 hrs fighting over ins with all the sickness around us but we did. We are so thankful for all the prayers as the dr says were not cancer free but were working towards it. This is true of God too hes not thru with Randy yet so we remain hopeful in his faith that we will come through this with a great testimony of his work and being patient in The Lord. We are finally home we never dreamed that wed take this long every piece of phone and ipad we had died. Thank yall for all the prayers they are truly working!!
