Sorry if this isnt appropriate here but it seems it is of interest for some members it started with the cost of houses and I seem to have started a debate on the state of the country financially. I was trying to say its not one generation or another that has caused the problem, if anyone its the big bank and the greedy bankers. If I didnt have to boost my pension to give me a living income some other young person could have my job, but I contributed to my pension all my working life and do not feel guilty for the pittance we are paid. We were given a retirement date and we were around for 60 / 70 / 80+ years, any good manager of money would have made provisions for us !!! How we get out of the mess I dont know but one generation blaming another wont do it it will take someone with more brains than me to do it
