Sorry this is late: March 9 Nightly Devotion: Dont Charge Ahead Wait for the LORD, be strong, and let your heart take courage; wait for the LORD! ~Psalm 27:14 At times the doors of opportunity dont seem to open fast enough-especially when your need is great. You come to the edge of your wits, strength, and resources; you wonder if theres something else you could do to improve your situation. The great temptation is to disregard Gods leadership and forge ahead, creating your own mediocre solutions. However, the doors of Gods best blessings cant be forced open. There are times for stepping out in faith and times for patience-and God will show you waht is necessary for your situation. Even so, listen to God, take heart, and trust him. No one can close the doors of blessing God has for you. I am certain that I will see the LORDs goodness in the land of the living. ~Psalm 27:13 God, I will be patient and listen to you-I wont charge ahead. Your timing is perfect, and I thank you that the blessings you have for me are mine forever. Amen
