Sorry to disappoint you, but Ninoy was just an overly ambitious politician like his rival Marcos. Ninoy’s death was just a mere consequence of his decision to come back to the Philippines to satisfy his well-known political ambition to become the president. His loyalty was to his family, not to the people. It was Ninoy, the congressman then, who masterminded that Hacienda Luisita be given free by the Philippine government to his in-laws Cojuangcos without any single centavo payment from the Cojuangcos. Ninoy was a documented citizen of both the Philippines and Malaysia, hence a two-faced Pilipino politician.
