Sound Of Abundance “And Elijah said unto Ahab, Get thee up, eat and drink for there is a sound of abundance of rain” 1 Kings 18:41 Elijah repaired the altar in1 Kings18, and fire came down. God proved Himself as the only true and living God that answers prayers. In verse 41 the bible reads, “And Elijah said unto Ahab, Get thee up, eat and drink for there is a sound of abundance of rain” How did he hear the sound? Everyone was eating human flesh. Things were tough, things were hard, meal barrels had run dry but because his ear was connected to the mouth of God. He was able to know what God has perfected in his eternity. He heard the sound of abundance of rain. I can hear the sound of abundance of rain in your life. I hear the sound of breakthrough in your life. I hear the sound of open doors in your life. I hear the sound of elevation in your life. No matter where the devil has put you, you are bouncing back. I hear the sound of abundance of rain. I am not hearing what others are hearing. I hear the sound of progress, the sound of increase. I hear the sound of multi-millionaires. I hear the sound of billionaires. I hear the sound of people who have received the fruit of the womb, people whose wives are delivering babies. I hear the sound of marital breakthrough, the sound of the keys of your own houses. Do you hear the sound? God is always speaking and the devil’s assignment is to make sure you do not hear, he jumps on your shoulder and his voice becomes loudest, if care is not taken the still small voice that says “this is the way, walk in it”, will be silenced and you will not hear. Beloved, I hear the sound of abundance. What are you hearing? It is critical we hear God today more than anything else. It is very critical and crucial, not with all that is happening in the world today. If you are not hear God, you will miss God, because events are really happening in quick succession, in a manner that makes you ask how do I even pray? Beloved, you need to put your ears on the ground and know what God is saying. As you hear His voice, also be quick to obey because there is blessing in obedience. You cannot enjoy the abundance if you did not hear His voice when He asked you to plant your seed. Beloved, may the Lord open your ears to hear what the Spirit of the Lord is saying to you today.
