Source: Instagram Get on the Bus! In case you forgot, Glee’s Show Choir Nationals take place in Los Angeles this year, meaning it was just a convenient double-decker bus ride for the cast from Paramount Studios. Of course many of the Gleeks tweeted from their “field trip.” The gang was spotting singing and dancing on top of the bus in view of the iconic Hollywood sign. While it looks like fun, we have a sinking suspicion New Directions won’t walk away with a trophy this year, since Glee is shifting focus after the 100th episode to the New York storylines. Or maybe they’ll go out on top? Glee Goes Live—Sort Of If you’ve ever wanted to see your favorite Gleeks perform live on stage, The Young Storytellers Foundation is hosting a unique event in Culver City, California, On February 22. Glee stars will take to the stage to perform scripts written by YSF students. The lineup hasn’t been finalized by in the past Darren Criss, Harry Shum Jr., Kevin McHale and Dot Marie Jones have all participated. Thanks to The Box Scene Project, a fan-run charity organization, fans can make $5 donations for the chance to win VIP tickets to the show (plus airfare and hotel), a script signed by Darren Criss and Chris Colfer, or even perform onstage with their favorite Gleeks. If you can’t make it to the Golden State, Box Scene is also hosting a livestream on February 22. Darren Criss on Glee’s Big Apple Move In a new interview with our sister site, The Backlot, Darren Criss says Glee‘s refocus on New York makes sense. “For Blaine, he’s engaged to somebody who lives in New York and has made plans to go to New York.,” said Criss. “Artie has applied to schools in Brooklyn, Sam is planning to be a model so there’s some obviousness to that… I don’t know if they’ll go right to college or if they’ll pursue working or living in delicious sin in New York.” Criss also figures Blaine and Kurt should shack up together in the Big Apple. “Call me crazy, but when you get engaged to somebody usually [moving in together is] a good idea. That will present a whole new structure to their relationship, and I’m sure it will create problems and conflict, which those things do, and we grow and we learn and all that good character-development stuff.” Plus, have you seen New York rents? There’s no way they could afford to live separately. Speaking of moving, Adam Lambert is house-hunting in the Hollywood Hills. (Starchild is tired of paying $6,000 a month in rent, apparently). Glambert is in luck, though: His mom, Leila Lambert, is one of L.A.’s savviest real-estate agents. She’s already shown him a $2.4 million “hillside retreat” with four bedrooms, three bathrooms and panoramic views of the city. Sounds awesome—Adam, tell us when the housewarming party is! Lea Michele bestie Jonathan Groff, who played Rachel’s love interest Jesse St. James on Glee, branched off last weekend into his own grownup series, Looking. . Sadly the HBO show, about three gay friends living in San Francisco, wasn’t a huge ratings bonanza: Only 338,000 people tuned in to watch the show’s January 19 premiere, The Wrap reports—and that was with Girls as a lead in. Here’s hoping things start Looking up for the show soon! Amber Riley snatched the mirror ball last year on Dancing With the Stars, and now the Glee actress is branching out into fashion: Riley and her sister Ashley recently launched Rileyland Fashions, an online clothing boutique aimed at plus-sized girls. “My sister and I are clothes fanatics and since so many of my curvier fans always express that they like my clothes I thought why not clean out my closet and fill up all of yours!” After just a month in business, they’ve sold out all their wares, but Amber promises the racks will be replenished soon! And be sure to keep your peepers peeled for Mercedes return in Episode 11! 100th Episode Spoilers With so many former cast members and guest stars (like Chace Crawford, above), there’s been a lot of teasers and spoilers for Glee‘s two-part 100th episode. The late Cory Monteith will be memorialized in the episode. According to an Instagram photo posted by wardrobe manager Rori Cruegsegger, Finn’s football jersey will play a part in the episode, similar to how his letterman jacket was included in “The Quarterback.” And it looks like Puck (Mark Salling) will be shaking what his mama gave him on the strip pole. Director of Photography Joaquin Sedillo teased that there will be some memorable smoochesin the episode, as well. Are we talking Brittana—or maybe Sam and Blaine? (Hey, we can dream!) Great week!
