South Africa woke up to this story this morning. I am absolutely devastated for this mother and this innocent little child. Hearing the voice recording of this devastated woman, describing how she begged them to let her get her children and of how her son was ripped from her arms, and how he screamed...I am heartbroken, appalled, sick, devastated, fearful, angry...I didnt even want to leave my house this morning. I dont want my children to step foot outside the safety of my home (where theyre not even safe, really)! The horror of what this child must have experienced and what the family will live with forever, is too much to bear. When will the violence in SA be addressed? When will things start to improve?
