Southaven is so much nicer of a city than Senatobia. The people here are so much more welcoming. I lived in the apartments for three years and not a single person made us feel welcome the entire time we lived there. During the first week here, we had neighbors come by and welcome us into the neighborhood. I get take out from anywhere in Senatobia and the people that wait on me look at me as if it pisses them off that I am purchasing something. McDonalds for instance, the drive-thru people will always be in a pissed off mood and the fries are always cold or old. In Southaven the food has been fresh every single time weve went out. People driving around arent as wreckless either. You dont hear idiots with their distorted music playing. You come up short for a purchase in Sentobia, they could care less - I had someone offer to pay the $3.00 balance (although I had it in my pocket) and told me to just pay him when I come in again. Its so much better on the other side of the hill so to speak. Im never going back to that sort of area as long as I live.
