Sovereign National Conference: I Just Dey Observe The last couple of weeks have been very tough for the APC because, of course, they always have to call for the opposite of whatever GEJ is saying or doing. And this has been very annoying when GEJ himself has been changing his mind pretty much on a daily basis(sign of cluelessness?). For example, GEJ was against a national conference, of course they were for it. Then he was for the conferece, now theyre against it. Thats what opposition in Nigeria has degenerated to: Opposing every action of the government of the day and heating up the polity to score cheap political points. I just finished reading a very very long article by our APC leader Bola Ahmed Tinubu, a former supporter of the conference, on why he is now against it on Premium Times. I am a devoted member of the PDP, but politics aside, The Chief made some very valid points: Its a maladroit proposal for our broke country that cannot settle ASUU demands. The more articles I read on the debate, the more confused I get. And this is getting too convulated for a science student like me(Na the small Government wen Mr Edhebe teach me for SS1 na I take dey operate so). But does anyone of you think the Conference will solve our problems? Barka de Sallah to my muslim friends. I beg wen the ram pepper soup set make them remember me oh; na one Nigeria we still be!!!
