Soybeans futures are currently trading slightly higher after panic selling drove August beans 37.25 cents lower yesterday and also hit November for 33 cents. Basis has continued to falter. The national average cash price reported by DTN on Wednesday was down 87 cents from the Tuesday average. August Meal was lock limit down ($20) for a second consecutive day and traded another $27 lower synthetically in options. August options expire today. USDA reported weekly export sales of 793,500 MT for last week. Meal bookings totaled 329,000 MT and bean oil was 3,300 MT.
