Space . We watch movies about space . Right now the US does not a have a manned space program . WHY ?? Cost is to much ! Very little of the money spent winds up in space . Most expenditures are spent in salaries to educated scientists , this is good right ?? An example that I know about . The computer system developed by the government for the space shuttle was used in the boeing 747 jetliner . My Dad , no liberal , said, A small part of the total budget of NASA winds up as junk in orbit , " Most of the money is right here on earth " Thanks Dad .
