Spain out, England out, Italy out (very likely, with the German League, the three most disputed and best leagues in the world). Now look at when these leagues ended (and the Champions League). Look at the state of Cristiano Ronaldo. Look at Messi (disappeared during the regular season), look at Robben (injured a big chunk of the season), look at how much Neymar payed, look at Germany (Bayern Munich won the Bundesliga two months before the league ended). Look at the South American countries (say Chile), the US and see when they concentrated and started preparing the World Cup. Does it make sense? Are we killing the golden eggs chicken?
