Spare a thought for Malaysian shooter Nur Ayuni Farhana Abdul Halim, who won a pairs gold medal at Delhi 2010. Her luggage failed to show up in Glasgow when the team arrived a week ago. Inside her suitcase was her competition jacket. When shooters register for an event they must have their competition jacket with them, so when a replacement jacket could not be found for Halim for Monday’s registration, she was forced to withdraw from the Games. She’s since hired a carry-on luggage coach.
