Speaker of the National Assembly, Gladys Kokorwe, has promised impartiality in Parliament. She was speaking this morning on breakfast with Reg. She said she will treat equitably, and not differentiate by whether they belong to the ruling party or the opposition. #Kokorwe, who took over from Margaret Nasha, after being voted for, by majority of the #MPs, also said she will also focus on the independence of Parliament, which she says includes issues such as conditions of service of the MPs amongst others. Kokorwe further said she would like to take Parliament to the people, through Kgotla meetings and Pitsos, as well as to resuscitate the Youth Parliament.
