Special Meeting to discuss new FEMA Flood Regulations… Are you familiar with the new FEMA flood insurance rules? There are drastic changes coming that will affect not only home owners, but the REALTORS who sell properties anywhere along the Delaware River or Rt. 295 corridor. Concerned REALTORS have set up a “preliminary” meeting to discuss the ramifications of the new FEMA rules & regulations, how they will be affecting real estate in the communities and the impact it will have on REALTORS. The purpose of this meeting is to discuss and strategize a plan of action for a formal meeting with FEMA set for January 27th at the FOP. Bruce Shapiro of NJR’s Legislative Division will be attending both meetings. The meeting will take place on January 8, 2015 at the Pennsville Diner (corner of Benson Ave. and North Broadway in Pennsville), beginning at 12:30 pm. We urge ALL REALTORS who do any kind of business along the Delaware River, to attend. These changes will affect REALTORS in both Salem and Gloucester Counties (Camden too).
