Special Weather Statements have been issued for ALL Of New Brunswick, Yarmouth, Shelburne, Queens, Digby, Annapolis, Kings, Lunenburg, Hants, Halifax, Colchester and Cumberland Counties in NS. Thundershowers and Heavy Rain starting tonight, to tomorrow. Environment Canada Says: A complex and slow moving trough of low pressure approaching the region from New England will bring scattered showers across much of Nova Scotia today. Periods of rain will develop tonight and will become heavy at times on Friday. The rain is expected to taper to showers Friday morning over extreme southwest regions and later in the afternoon over central regions. There is currently much uncertainty on forecasting the intensity and speed of this feature. Consequently determining which regions will receive the heaviest rainfall remains extremely difficult at this time. It is certainly possible that rainfall warnings may become required for some regions as the evolution of this system becomes clearer. At this time rainfall amounts of anywhere from 25 to 45 mm are expected with this system.
